Custom Leather Production
Potential small-batch leather production in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Through our workshop and production relationships in León, we have the potential to support selected outside projects for small, high-quality brands, independent designers, artists, and creative teams. For the right project, this may include experimental, avant-garde, technically unusual, or white-label work.
These are not standard or guaranteed services. Every inquiry is considered individually based on the project, design, materials, construction, quantity, timeline, available capacity, and overall fit.
Projects we may be able to support
For suitable projects, potential capabilities may include the development and production of bags, boots, wallets, jackets, leather clothing, accessories, and related leather goods.

Independent and white-label projects
For selected projects, we may consider producing under a client’s own label, allowing the brand to retain its identity, design direction, and customer-facing presentation while drawing on production resources in León.
A project may begin with an initial concept, an existing sample, or completed technical specifications. Acceptance and scope depend on feasibility, capacity, production requirements, and whether the project is a strong fit for the workshop and our production network.
Why León
León is a working leather and footwear city with a deeply established production community. Tanneries, leather merchants, pattern makers, cutters, stitchers, bootmakers, hardware suppliers, sole makers, and finishing specialists operate throughout the region. This concentrated network creates the potential to source materials, solve technical problems, and coordinate specialized work without separating design from the realities of production.
Working in León also gives us direct relationships with makers and suppliers and the ability to evaluate development, materials, construction, finishing, and quality closely when we take on an outside project.
Small-batch potential
Many factories are structured around large minimum orders that are unrealistic for independent brands and new products. For the right project, our smaller structure and local production network may make it possible to develop a limited run, test a product in the market, and consider expansion later if demand and capacity support it.
Depending on the project, potential support may begin with design review, pattern development, prototypes, or an existing sample. We would then evaluate the appropriate leather, hardware, construction method, labor requirements, quantity, and timeline before deciding whether to proceed.
Fair pricing and ethical production
When we accept an outside project, our goal is to work with fair and transparent pricing, clear communication, and respect for the people doing the work. We do not want to take on projects that would require unsafe conditions, hidden subcontracting, or labor practices that treat skilled makers as disposable.
Any proposal would be based on the actual materials, development, labor, construction, quantity, finishing, and production requirements of the project.
Propose a project
Contact us with a description of the product, reference images or drawings, target quantity, preferred materials, and intended timeline. We will review the inquiry and determine whether it is something we may be able and willing to support. Submitting a project does not guarantee acceptance.
