Returns & Cancellations

We want every pair of Imminent Occurrence boots to arrive with the care and clarity they deserve. This page explains how return and cancellation requests work, including the EU right of withdrawal for eligible orders.

Return requests

For eligible orders, you may request a return within the return window shown at checkout or in your customer account. Items must be returned unworn, unused, undamaged, and in their original condition, including original packaging where possible.

Trying boots on indoors is fine. Please do not wear returned boots outside, crease them through use, mark the soles, or alter them in any way.

EU right of withdrawal

If your order is delivered to a country in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after the final item in your order has been delivered, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, submit a return or cancellation request through your customer account, or contact us before the withdrawal period expires. If the last day of the withdrawal period falls on a weekend or holiday, the period extends to the next working day.

Cancellations before shipment

For EU orders, you may request cancellation before the item is fulfilled. Once an order has shipped, please request a return instead.

For non-EU orders, cancellation eligibility may vary depending on order status, production status, and fulfillment timing.

Return shipping costs

For standard withdrawal returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless we state otherwise. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage until your return is received and processed.

If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we are responsible for the return shipping cost.

Refunds

For EU withdrawal requests, refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation or withdrawal request. We may wait to issue the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that the goods were sent back.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Original standard delivery charges are refunded where required by law. Additional charges for upgraded shipping methods may not be refundable.

Items that may not be eligible

Custom-made, made-to-order, or clearly personalized items may be excluded from the EU right of withdrawal where permitted by law. Any product marked final sale, customized, or personalized will be identified before purchase where applicable.

How to start a request

  1. Sign in to your customer account and open the order.
  2. Choose the return or cancellation option available for the order.
  3. Follow the instructions provided. Returned items must be sent back promptly after your request is submitted.

Inspection

Returned items are inspected when received. If an item is returned worn, used, damaged, altered, or missing original components, we may reduce the refund where permitted by law.
